Which Austin venues do you work with?
We bring the afternoon tea experience to your home, workplace or to a venue of your choice. We’ve worked with lots of Austin and Central Texas venues, both indoor and outdoor. Read about some of our favorites.
Do you provide catering?
Yes. You may cater your own party, use your venue’s caterers, or let the Truly Terrific Tea Co. take care of it for you. We work with local bakers and caterers to provide everything from the traditional full afternoon tea to a Parisian-style tea with delicious petit-fours and patisserie chocolates.
Vegan or gluten-free options are available. Please let us know your requirements during your planning session.
How many guests can I invite?
Our minimum number of guests is 6. Our current maximum is 200.
What is included in my Tea Package?
All tea events include our Signature table settings with table linens, napkins, runners, and centerpieces. Your choice of patterned china cups and saucers. Plus dessert plates, teapots, milk jugs, sugar bowls, cutlery, and 3-tier cake stands. Your choice of premium teas, and tea menus
Can I have alcohol at my party?
If your party is in your home, we can create specialty cocktails and mocktails for you and your guests (alcohol must be purchased by you).
Can I select my choice of china?
We can make selections based on your color palette and theme or you may choose your teacups and saucers from our range of matching and coordinating sets. We will then match the tea accessories (plates, teapots, milk jugs, etc) to your choices.
Do you host children’s parties?
Yes. We host Mother-Daughter teas and Princess tea parties. Our partnership with Lonestar Character Entertainment brings the magic right to your door.
Can we rent your tea party china?
Sorry, we do not currently offer a china rental service.
Can you provide tea party attendants?
Yes. Our Tea-Mates can assist with pouring tea and serving food, subject to availability for your date.
